We work closely with our clients to identify their needs and to provide them with an architectural solution that is in line with our social, environmental and economic values.

Our
Process
01
Pre-Design
After an initial site visit & client meeting, we prepare an NZIA Architects Agreement for Services, develop the project brief and model any existing buildings (if applicable).

Preliminary Design
The clients concept design is developed in finer detail. During this stage we engage any sub-consultants that may be required.

Documentation
We prepare all the documentation required for Building Consent and discuss pricing and potential Contractors for the project.

Procurement & Pricing
We help guide the client through pricing options and Contractor communications.

Concept
We typically prepare 1-2 concept proposals, including Site Plan, Floor Plan, 3D views, and a 3D walk-through model to discuss with the client to develop the design.

Developed Design
The drawings are developed with consideration of structural elements, bracing, buildability of construction elements, and material selections. For modst projects this stage is undertaken partly or wholes area part of Preliminary design or docuetmnation stage.

Building Consent
The Building Consent application is complied and lodged with the relevant Council on the clients behalf.

Contract Administration & Observation
For Construction documents are issued to the Contractor and we undertake administration of the Construction Contract. We monitor time and costs, as well as assessing project completion.
